Other online bookshops
Kobo, Google Play Books, Apple Books and many more: directly or through a distributor.
Exclusive or everywhere?
With KDP Select the ebook cannot be in other stores. Outside Select you can sell it everywhere: more possible readers, but no Kindle Unlimited. The paperback has no exclusivity.
Direct stores
Kobo Writing Life, Google Play Books and Apple Books accept the Mitros ePub. They are free and keep a share of each sale; each has its own dashboard and payments.
One distributor for all
Draft2Digital or StreetLib put your book in dozens of stores and digital libraries from one dashboard, for a small percentage.
The paperback in bookshops
Bookshops order from distributors, not from Amazon. Print-on-demand services like IngramSpark or StreetLib make the paperback orderable by shops (you need your own ISBN).
Same book, same details
Use the same title, cover and description everywhere. Different prices across stores can lead Amazon to lower yours.
Prices, percentages and rules change: always check the official pages. Guide updated in October 2026.
