Privacy

Mitros is a personal project by Lyunchan. In short: Mitros has no servers, no accounts and collects no data. Your worlds stay on your computer and, if you choose so, in your OneDrive.
The Windows program
- Worlds, pictures, sounds and videos are files in the folder you choose at the start (also a folder synced by OneDrive, Google Drive or Dropbox). Mitros sends them nowhere.
- There are no usage statistics, ads or tracking.
- Mitros only uses the internet for features you turn on: the optional writing assistant sends the text you choose to the provider you set up with your own key (Anthropic, an OpenAI-compatible service or a model on your PC); transcription downloads the speech model from Hugging Face once and then works offline.
- Assistant keys are stored encrypted on that computer, never in the library.
The Android app (preview)
- You sign in with your Microsoft account on Microsoft's own page: Mitros never sees your password.
- The permission requested (read and edit files, stay signed in) is only used to work on the Mitros folder in your OneDrive. The app talks directly to Microsoft: no data goes through Mitros servers.
- The sign-in is stored encrypted on the phone (Android Keystore). You can sign out in the app or revoke the permission at account.microsoft.com → Privacy → Apps and services.
- When you share a page or a world, the file goes to the app you choose (WhatsApp, Mail…).
This website
- No cookies, no analytics, no forms. Fonts are part of the site.
- If you stop the background music, your browser remembers it (local browser storage): nothing is sent.
- The presentation video loads from YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode) only when you press ▶: from then on Google's privacy policy applies.
- The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which may log technical data (such as the IP address) for security and performance.
